Let's go, today ' The advocate of Satan

is posing as an advocate and seeking answers to some questions. First question: Hamas launched an attack on Israel, in response to which Israel conducted a devastating bombardment of Gaza. Should it be understood that by launching this attack, Hamas caused harm to Palestinians instead? Second question: According to Western media, children were also martyred in Hamas's attacks. Should such ruthless actions not be condemned? Third question: If Palestinians refrain from confronting Israel, it is necessary to apply practical wisdom, and groups like Hamas are causing harm to Palestinians instead of showcasing this wisdom. Is this statement correct?

Before answering these questions, it is essential to bring to light the underlying assumptions in them. For example, let's assume that before Hamas's attacks, Palestinians were under Israeli control, and Israel had occupied their territories. Still, their lives were somewhat peaceful. They woke up in the morning, went to their jobs, earned a meager living, sat down with their children to have dinner in the evening. However, after Hamas's attacks, nothing but destruction has come into their hands. This assumption was ridiculed by Egyptian TV anchor and political satirist Bassem Youssef, who said that let's imagine a world without Hamas, and we'll name that world 'Western Shore' because Hamas doesn't exist on the Western Shore. Nevertheless, Israel has killed 172 Palestinians there this year, including children. Therefore, saying that things were better for Palestinians before Hamas's attacks is contrary to facts.

The second assumption is tied to Hamas's terrorism. Western media invites supporters of Palestine to their programs and asks them why they do not condemn Hamas's actions. If they do not, it means they do not have the right to condemn Israel. This comparison is misleading because it justifies Israel's actions when the world is watching and does not ask why you do not condemn the Israeli military's shelling of civilian areas. Palestinians argue that if there are terrorists in the region, it is the Israeli army, which is occupying Palestinian land, and this is established by international law. When Western media singles out Hamas, it is, in reality, giving Israel a blank check to bomb Palestinian neighborhoods. This is why no Western anchor has ever asked Israel's supporters why they do not condemn the shelling of civilian areas by the Israeli military.

Now, let's return to practical wisdom. What practical options do Palestinians have? Palestinians have tried peaceful negotiations and adherence to international law for decades, and the world has turned a blind eye to their cause. In the past, the armed struggle of the PLO led to the Oslo Accords, but to this day, Israel has not made the path smooth for the Palestinian state. So, what can Palestinians do? The Israeli government kills Palestinians every day, builds new settlements on their land, cuts off their electricity, water, and food whenever they want. Despite this, the world's principle is that one does not resist one's oppressor. Any practical solution should ensure that the land is not taken away from the Palestinian people, and the landowner is not discontented. What practical wisdom can you suggest that prevents a landowner from becoming disgruntled, even if it means that the landowner's daughter does not become pregnant during the process of formulating this wisdom!

I do not usually bring religion into worldly matters, but the religious scholars who are presenting this case that Hamas's attacks have harmed Palestinians are requested to bear in mind that in matters of faith, worldly gains are not considered. The Quraish of Mecca offered the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) a proposal that had a worldly benefit, but he (peace be upon him) responded by saying, "If you put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left, I would not desist from this mission." Hamas's attacks may seem to have caused more harm to Palestinians outwardly, but if you have any practical wisdom, please present it. However, keep in mind that Israel should not be displeased, as if it gets displeased, which often happens for minor reasons, it will annihilate Gaza and the Western Shore with phosphorus bombs.

Now tell me, what should Palestinians do?"
